Fifty years after the infamous fights between mods and rockers on Brighton seafront, the Brighton Mod weekender is in full swing.
Hundreds of mods are visiting Madeira Drive this weekend, showing off their scooters and sixties fashions in the bright sunshine.

The daytime events, which include a scooter competition and market stalls, take place outside the Volks Tavern, with evening events at Komedia in the North Laine.
The event has been far more peaceful than the scenes in May 1964 when thousands of mods and rockers clashed on the seafront, events that would later inspire the film Quadrophenia.
The events are also the subject of a BBC documentary Mods and Rockers Rebooted, which was re-broadcast on Friday night, and still available on iplayer here.
