Brighton pancake restaurant The Creperie is today hosting a world record breaking attempt of pancake tosses in one minute.
Members of the public are invited to attempt to break the record currently held by fast flipping Australian celebrity chef Brad Jolly, who rocked up 140 flips in 60 seconds in 2012.
The event will take place from 10am until 10pm and each pancake flip session will be timed and noted by owner Pete Bradford.
Mr Bradford said: “We are asking as many people to get involved as possible to help break this record.
“Each person who takes part and buys a crepe at The Creperie will get a complimentary pancake next time they visit us at the Creperie.”
As you’d expect, The Creperie, situated just off Brighton seafront, celebrates Shrove Tuesday every year.
This week’s pancake specials include a Sri Lankan chicken curry galette and a strawberries and cream crepe.
