A key road for drivers in Brighton has been shut to traffic after a two-car crash this afternoon (Thursday 5 March).
A Vauxhall Astra and a Toyota crashed in Bear Road by the corner of Bevendean Road shortly after 3.30pm.
Diversions were put in place, Sussex Police said.
Work to clear the wreckage and debris was under way at about 5.30pm, according to police.
A spokesman advised drivers to avoid the area if possible.
Two of those involved in the crash were reported to have suffered minor injuries.
The crash comes less than a week after Bear Road was closed for more than three hours after a taxi was involved in an accident with a pedestrian.
