Train passengers travelling to and from Brighton and Hove along the west coastway route are being affected by over-running engineering works.
Southern, the main train company running services along the route, said that there would be “reduced service between Brighton and West Worthing”.
The reduced service was expected to last until the end of the day (Wednesday 12 August).
Southern said: “Over-running engineering works at West Worthing means that a reduced service is running between Brighton and West Worthing.
“Trains that start/terminate at West Worthing will not run. However, some trains between Brighton and Southampton Central/Portsmouth Harbour will call additionally at Aldrington, Fishergate, East Worthing and West Worthing.
“All other services between these stations are currently unaffected by this issue.
“This is expected to continue until end of service.”
The cancellations affect about two trains an hour.
