A 20-year-old man suffered head injuries in a fall from a first-floor balcony in Brighton early yesterday morning (Saturday 15 August).
A railing appears to have given way on the balcony in Preston Street shortly at about 5.30am.
The man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Kemp Town, for treatment by paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service.
His condition was described as stable.
Preston Street was closed for about five hours while the emergency services dealt with the incident. It reopened at about 11am.
