A 17-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash with a car in Brighton.
The accident happened at 9pm on Friday (4 September) and today (Tuesday 8 September) Sussex Police asked any witnesses to come forward.
Both the motorcyclist and car driver were from Woodingdean.
The force said: “Witnesses are being sought to a crash involving a silver Vauxhall Astra car and a black Suzuki 125cc motorcycle at the junction of Warren Road and the Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Woodingdean.
“The collision, at 9pm on Friday, left the motorcyclist with potentially life-changing leg injuries. Aged 17, he was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
“The car driver, aged 35, and also a local man, was unhurt.
“Warren Road was shut for around two hours while the scene was cleared and circumstances investigated.
“The Kent, Surrey and Sussex air ambulance landed near by to help provide medical aid to the casualty.”
