Hospital bosses share details of £485m modernisation project with Brighton neighbours
Hospital bosses are to share the latest details of their £485 million modernisation project with their Brighton neighbours this evening (Wednesday 20 January).
The Hospital Liaison Group meeting will include updates about the modernisation of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Eastern Road, Kemp Town.
Those attending should also hear about the completion of the Macmillan Horizon Centre.
The meeting is taking place from 7pm to 9pm in the Audrey Emerton Building, opposite the Royal Sussex.
At a previous meeting some people living close to the hospital said that badgers had been seen behind the old Barry Building.
Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs the Royal Sussex, said that its CCTV cameras had spotted just one badger.
It was thought to be in transit, rather than living on the site, but the trust would liaise with the Badgers’ Trust where appropriate.
