Teenager stabbed at McDonald’s in London Road as families eat

A teenager was stabbed at McDonald’s in London Road, Brighton, as families ate their dinner this afternoon.

Police have taped off the fast food restaurant and there are currently five police cars parked outside.

Officers were called to the scene at 4.51pm on Tuesday (January 17). An 18-year-old man has been taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. His condition is not known at this time.

Police are hunting for a mixed race man in his late teens with a scar over his eye who they would like to talk to in connection with the incident.
