Rotherham United 0 Brighton & Hove Albion 2

Albion cruised to victory against lowly Rotherham with second-half goals from Anthony Knockaert and Solly March.

The result maintains the six-point gap between the Seagulls and third-placed Huddersfield Town. They beat Aston Villa.

David Stockdale made a series of good saves in the first half as Albion looked to overcome back to back defeats.

Near the end of the half Richie Towell, on as a substitute, almost scored his first league goal for Albion but missed the target when clean through.

In the late kick off Newcastle United were held to a goalless draw at Reading.

Albion next take on Derby County at the Amex this Friday (10 March).
