A man has been given the date for his trial on a charge of raping a woman in Brighton last month.
Dongxu Su, 32, of Caius Court, Stoney Lane, Shoreham, is in custody as he waits for his case to come before a jury.
He appeared by video link at Hove Crown Court today (Tuesday 21 March) before Judge Christine Laing.
She said that he should go on trial on Monday 14 August at Lewes Crown Court.
Su was charged with raping a woman in Queen’s Road, Brighton, on Friday 17 February, and committing another sexual offence on Sunday 19 February.
He denies the charges.
