Santa’s helpers will be holding festive workshops on the three Saturdays before Christmas to help children make a gift for someone special.

ANd when they’re finished, they can meet the big man himself, before taking a ride to the Halfway Station and bck.

The price is £10 per child, which includes the train journey. Adults can purchase a discounted £1 train ticket on the oldest electric railway in the world on the day.

If trains are able to run the round journey takes around 20 minutes. However, sometimes trains are unable to run due to unforeseen circumstances.

Families can ride before or after their slot with Santa, and the last train leaves the Visitor Centre at 2.30pm.
