Albion trail to Stoke by two goals to one at half time at the Amex this evening (Monday 20 November).
The German-born Cameroon international striker Maxim Choupo-Moting put Stoke ahead on the half hour.
Justice was restored as Albion’s Pascal Gross equalised two minutes before half time.
Then, almost on the whistle, from a corner, the French defender Kurt Zouma headed past Maty Ryan from inside the six-yard box.
The talking point of the half has been the clear penalty that Albion were denied as Ryan Shawcross scythed down Glenn Murray.
It appeared that the assistant referee had put his flag across his chest but referee Lee Mason waved away appeals.
Albion’s other chances have fallen to Jose Izquierdo who has had a couple of chances cutting in from wide positions and a long-range effort, just wide, from Dale Stephens.
The starting line up was the same as the side that beat Swansea City 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium just over a fortnight ago.
