A former bus driver who has gone missing after admitting downloading extreme porn and images of child abuse is thought to have travelled to Brighton.
Mark Summerton was reported missing from his home in Rugby on Thursday, March 8 but hasn’t been seen by anyone since February 10 in the Midlands area.
In January, he was sentenced to community service and a 25-day rehabilitation course after pleading guilty to three charges of making indecent image of children and one of possessing extreme pornography at Warwick Crown Court.
He had quit his job as a bus driver after 20 years following the police raid on his home last June, during which he directed officers to his PC which contained images including a man with a dog and a woman with a horse, as well as several images of young girls.
He was also put on the sex offenders register for five years and passed a five-year sexual harm prevention order.
Since going missing, he has been seen driving in his Ford Focus with registration FG07 FXA and was last caught on CCTV in this vehicle on March 12 at the Boship roundabout service station.
He is white, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and white patterned T-shirt.
Anyone who sees him is asked to contact police online quoting serial 491 of 8/3.
