A Handbag?! Oscar Wilde classic comes to BOAT

There’ll be cucumber sandwiches for tea at Brighton Open Air Theatre this week – and handbags at dawn too – as Oscar Wilde’s much-loved classic opens on Wednesday (1 August).

The fearsome Lady Bracknell is played by Patric Kearns, last seen at BOAT as the Sheriff of Nottingham, and ensures that the path of true love never does run smooth, in this sparkling comedy of manners from a master of wit.
