The Great Escape new music festival announces another 120 acts to play across Brighton & Hove

The Great Escape – Brighton & Hove:  500+ BANDS.  35 VENUES.  3 DAYS.

The Great Escape has today announced Fat White Family to play The Quietus Stage at the Deep End at the beach on the Saturday, on top of 120 more acts to play this year’s internationally renowned festival, including immense emerging artists such as black midi, Flohio, Laura Misch, Los Bitchos, SL, Yung Fume + many more.
There will also be a massive spotlight show announced next week!

The Great Escape, the festival for new music, will be kicking off festival season by playing host to over 450 up and coming artists and a music-led conference across 35 walkable venues from 9-11 May 2019 in Brighton. With over 50 acts still to be announced, there’s much more to come for The Great Escape 2019! Tickets start from £75 and are on sale HERE with day tickets and two-day tickets on sale from today.

Renowned BBC Radio 2 presenter Whispering Bob Harris brings his carefully Under The Apple Tree curated line-up to The Great Escape on Thursday 9 May with Country and Americana artists including Eleanor Nelly, Foreign Affairs, Katie Pruitt and Ruston Kelly. Harris says, “Like The Great Escape, Under The Apple Tree believes in supporting new music, so I’m thrilled and delighted to bring such fantastic emerging artists to our festival stage.”

Some artists from the previous FirstFifty, Australian lead country partnership and sponsor announcements include vast new music makers – AJ Tracey, Anna Calvi, Confidence Man, Connie Constance, Easy Life, Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes, girl in red, Indoor Pets, Jockstrap, Lady Bird, Little Simz, Mini Mansions, Murkage Dave, Pip Blom, Self Esteem, The Amazons, Tourist and Yves Tumor.
