Albion have taken a while to work their way into the match and the Seagulls’ best two chances have fallen to Glenn Murray as Davy Propper and Dale Stephens finally got a grip on the midfield.
Dan Burn has been effective as wing back on the left.
Burnley’s best chance came from Burn as the ball ricocheted off his thigh under pressure from Chris Wood with Maty Ryan seemingly stranded.
Murray went close with a header from a Solly March cross and with a low drive which Burnley keeper Nick Pope turned away.
