People are being asked to look out for laptops, drives, sound equipment, microphones, cameras, televisions and lights being offered for sale.

The burglars caused extensive damage when forcing their way into the building in New Road at some point between Friday evening and Sunday morning.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area.

Anyone with any information is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting crime reference 47220202727.

Where in New Road? The Theatre Royal? The Corn Exchange? And when exactly? New Road has CCTV so it must be possible to narrow it down. I’m guessing this is taken from a Police press release because it’s so uselessly vague. They want help, but if they’re to jog someone’s memory days after a burglary, we need more precise details.

Going on past appeals this likely took place months ago; tardy!

This was carried out by the alcoholics and druggies on the long benches. Don’t know the surnames of the ringleaders but I think they’re brothers. Lawrence and Ross.
Surprised the CCTV directly above didn’t catch them out (That’s if it’s working?)
The way things are going in New Road on those benches it’s only a matter of time before we have an other Andrew O’Connell or a Lee Williams killings. That lot need to be shut down.
I’m street homeless but I’m not an alcoholic or a drug user. I’m ashamed to be associated with idiots like that (I remember the two killings) Not all of us street folks are violent criminals?
Believe it or not I work I don’t use criminality and greed as a shortcut to gain material possessions.
