A blue plaque honouring a pair of pioneering aviationist brothers is set to be unveiled tomorrow.
Eustace and Oswald Short set up their hot air ballooning enterprise at 2 Hove Park Villas in 1898, and three years later launched their first coal gas balloon from the Pleasure Gardens in St Ann’s Well.
Tomorrow, Brighton and Hove mayor Amanda Grimshaw is unveiling a blue plaque.

The original quote for the blue plaque was £1380, but ended up costing £1560. This was because of inflation. #balloonjoke
