Brighton’s leading new music discovery platform The Beach House Sessions is celebrating a year since their launch with BHS Fest; an all-dayer multi-venue festival in collaboration with WaterBear on Saturday 25th October.

The event promises a packed day of performances from 18 acts across two stages, with the focus on Brighton artists that have featured on the series so far, alongside even more of the most exciting emerging artists from our city.

Music will run between WaterBear Venue and WaterBear Music Bar, with only a 10 minute walk between the venues. Set times will be staggered, giving audiences the chance to move easily between both spaces and catch as much music as possible.

Since launching in 2024, The Beach House Sessions has quickly grown into one of Brighton’s most talked-about platforms for new music, showcasing intimate live performances filmed by the sea and giving a spotlight to the next wave of talent. This anniversary all-dayer is a natural next step, bringing that same spirit of discovery and connection into a live music venue setting, with the community at its heart.

“We’ve spent the past year platforming artists we believe in, and Brighton has been at the centre of that journey,” say the organisers. “This event is about celebrating the incredible talent in the city, giving audiences a chance to discover new artists, and marking a really exciting first year for The Beach House Sessions.”

With two stages, 18 artists, and eight hours of music in two of Brighton’s most iconic music hubs, this promises to be a standout moment in the city’s live calendar this autumn.

11 of the 18 acts have been announced in the first wave details and it’s already looking like a seriously strong lineup. These acts are: Bex, Maximilian, Bones Ate Arfa, Dirtsharks, Lynnie Snow, Nature TV, Coco & The Lost, Matisse Moretti, Bighead Tea Drinkers, Moon Idle, and Joe Little.

WaterBear Venue is located at 169-170 Kings Road Arches and the WaterBear Music Bar can be found at 14-17 Manchester Street.

First wave of tickets are on sale now for only £15 via thebeachhousesessions.com.
