Churchill Square’s glass lift is going – but will be replaced with two new ones.
The replacement is already underway, with centre management thanking customers for their patience.
Alternative step-free routes are available via the car park behind the Entertainer on the Lower Mall, via the car park by Ikea on the Upper Mall and the food court by the toilets.
A spokeswoman said: “Churchill Square management has expressed heartfelt gratitude to visitors for their patience and understanding during this transformative period, recognising that whilst the temporary inconvenience of alternative access routes may require extra effort, these improvements will benefit the entire community for the greater good.”
