Three people have been taken to hospital after what police said was a “medical incident” in Hove.
Sussex Police said: “On Thursday afternoon (27 August), emergency services were called to a property in Sackville Road, Hove, following a report of a medical incident.
“Three people have been taken to hospital for treatment.
“We are working alongside partners to establish the full circumstances and a police presence remains heightened in the area at this time.”
One neighbour cast doubt on the incident having a “medical” cause and said that it resulted either from someone’s poor mental health or their recreational drug use.
