Hove car thief jailed after 130mph chase

A machete-wielding man is being hunted by police in Brighton after a fight yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 19 September).

Initial reports suggested that the man was carrying an axe but Sussex Police said today that this had been discounted after officers viewed CCTV footage.

The force said this afternoon: “Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was reported to be wielding what was suspected to be a machete in Brighton on Tuesday 19 September.

“Officers received a report that a fight had broken out between two groups of men in London Road, near the A270 Viaduct Road junction, at 5.45pm.

“The two groups got into separate cars, believed to be a black BMW and a Ford Focus, and the altercation continued in King’s Road on the seafront.

“A man of Asian appearance, wearing white trousers and a black top, was in possession of the believed to be a machete and glass bottles and road signs were thrown between both groups.”

Detective Inspector Simon Morgan said: “These two groups of men were involved in a serious altercation on busy roads during rush hour.

“We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any video footage of it.

“If you witnessed the incident or have any information please report online or call 101, quoting reference 1178 of 19/09.”

The cancer of political “correctness” makes telling the obvious TRUTH a thought-crime. When will this communist-inspired lunacy end?

Come on Barney, don’t hold back: we know you’re itching to say something deeply insightful. Tell you what, I’ll start the sentence for you: “I’m not racist but…”

Drug gangs from S London fighting over the lucrative patch of Brighton drug morons who think that taking drugs is cool – PC liberals have a lot to answer for.

Fishwife 49 – I don’t hate foreigners – or ANYONE I don’t know. Hate is a self-destructive emotion reserved for those that give me a reason to hate, and there are very few in that category. I prefer to take everyone as I find them, but if caring more for my own people than for “the other” makes me a “racist” in your eyes, so be it.

It does annoy me that the cancer of political “correctness” is used as a weapon against anyone who dares to speak the truth though, and not only about racial matters. What were once the sciences have been similarly corrupted for financial/political purposes, and we can’t even challenge government LIES any more without being classed as “dissidents” or worse.

We need to end the cancer of political “correctness” and all equally unreasonable forms of censorship (and please note my use of the word “unreasonable” there) and restore our right to free speech and honest debate.

That’s the only way we’ll ever get to the truth about anything.

Creative use of speech marks there, Barney. And yes, if you determine there is such a thing as your ‘own’ and ‘other’ people, you are indeed racist. In the minority admittedly, but interesting you should consider political correctness the cancer of society, when actually it’s people like you.

It just goes to show you can’t be too careful!
