A burst water main in Preston Drove has knocked out water for large parts of Fiveways this morning.

The main burst in the early hours of this morning, and thousands of people woke to find they had no water.
The repair was hampered by several parked cars which Southern Water had to wait for police to move before their engineers could get to work.
A spokeswoman for Southern Water said: “We are currently dealing with a burst main in Preston Drove, Brighton.
“Our specialist crews arrived on site but unfortunately several parked cars obstructed our work. Although we tried to find the owners to get them moved, but had to wait for the police to arrive to assist us.
“The cars have now been moved and we have begun the repair.”
