New Road was packed to the brim with colourful and mouth-watering produce for the Big Sussex Market, part of Brighton and Hove’s Spring Harvest Festival, on Saturday and Sunday.
An estimated 35,000 people came to the market, the biggest of its kind on the south coast.

The market is just one of several events which make up the festival, which runs until Sunday, March 21.
Other events taking part over the last few days include the Sussex Beer and Cider Festival at the Hove Centre, the Introduction to Permaculture Show at Stanmer Park and a pasta eating competition at Nick & Franco’s Deli in The Lanes.
On Wednesday, St Patrick’s Day will be celebrated in Jubilee Square and next weekend sees the Chocolate Festival take over New Road on Saturday and Sunday and a whisky festival at the Hilton Brighton Metropole on Saturday afternoon.
