Taxi crash in Brighton leaves Hove woman with life-threatening head injuries
A 31-year-old pedestrian from Hove suffered serious head injuries after she was knocked over by a taxi in the early hours of this morning (Saturday 30 March).
The woman was taken to Hurstwood Park Neurosciences Centre, in Haywards Heath, with life-threatening injuries after the accident which happened at about 5.10am.
Her condition was described as critical.
Sussex Police said that the taxi driver was unhurt in the accident in Edward Street, Brighton.
Sergeant Neil Walker, from the Road Policing Unit, said: “Although the collision happened in the early hours, I am hoping that due to it being a weekend someone may have witnessed it.”
