Three cars crashed leaving one person trapped in Brighton last night (Monday 6 July).Firefighters cut free the person who was trapped in the crash at the traffic lights at the corner of Lewes Road and Coldean Lane.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said that crews were called out just after 8pm.
The fire service said: “Two appliances from Preston Circus and one officer were mobilised to the incident at 8.07pm on Monday 6 July.
“On arrival they found there to be three vehicles that had been involved in an RTC (road traffic collision) with one person trapped.
“Firefighters released one casualty into the care of South East Coast Ambulance.
“Sussex Police also attended.
“Crews used an environment pack to make the area safe before leaving the scene at 8.56pm.”
