A man from Brighton has been banned from the road after being caught drink driving during a crackdown by Sussex Police.
Seun Alliu was arrested after police stopped him in his Mercedes C220 at 2.30am on Saturday 27 June in Brighton Road, Worthing.
Alliu, 34, of Dyke Road Avenue, Brighton, had 43 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of his breath.
He pleaded guilty to drink driving when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (28 July).
He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £250 and ordered to pay £235 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
Alan Humphrey was arrested at 11.10pm on Thursday 11 June after officers saw him turning out of a pub car park and then speeding in his Vauxhall Astra in Cross Road, Southwick.
Humphrey, 38, of Hill Farm Way, Southwick, had 51 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of his breath.
He pleaded guilty to drink driving when he appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 30 June.
He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £540 and ordered to pay £235 costs and a £54 victim surcharge.
