A 19-year-old man has been arrested over the stabbing of another teenager at McDonald’s in London Road yesterday, which happened after a fight broke out in front of families and children.
The victim, an 18-year-old man, was treated at the scene and taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries, including a shoulder wound after the attack, which happened at 4.15pm.
Within two hours, Brighton Police had arrested the 19-year-old at an address in Brighton on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
He is currently in custody for interview and further enquiries.
It’s a sad state of affairs when you can stick a knife into someone’s chest and yet only be charged with GBH.
