Protesters held a demo at a Brighton University open day on Saturday (25 March) in support of a union pay campaign.
More than 50 students and teaching staff took part in the protest outside the Cockcroft building, on the Moulsecoomb campus, in Lewes Road, after marching from The Level.
Some of those taking part in the demo made it into the reception area of the building while their colleagues protested outside the entrance.
The protest took place as parents and prospective students were hoping to look round the university’s School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics.
It was organised by Precarious Workers Brighton and Alt-Students’ Union.
On Friday (31 March) members of the University and College Union (UCU) at Brighton University staff will walk out in the dispute over pay and conditions.
