A teenager from Hove who had been missing for a week has been found safe and well, Sussex Police said this morning (Thursday 20 April).
Ella Sears was last seen briefly on Wednesday 12 April, the force said yesterday when it published an appeal for help in finding her.
Today Sussex Police said: “Ella Sears has now been found safe and well.
“The 17-year-old was last seen in Hove on (Wednesday) 12 April but had not been seen since.
“She got in contact with police on Wednesday 19 April 19 and is safe and well.”
Yesterday Brighton and Hove missing persons co-ordinator Vicky Morris said: “We are obviously concerned for Ella because of her age.
“She’s not in any trouble but we do need her, or anyone who has seen her or who may know where she is, to get in touch as soon as possible so that we know she’s okay.”
