A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a crash on Brighton seafront this afternoon (Sunday 12 November).
The accident happened at the Aquarium roundabout outside the Sealife Centre and the Palace Pier.
The A259 Marine Parade was closed to traffic heading east for a while as the emergency services dealt with accident.
The scooter and a Ford Focus car crashed at about 3.50pm.
Officers from Sussex Police and paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended.
There was no indication of the severity, nature and extent of the scooter rider’s injuries and condition.
