The driver of an Audi car is wanted by police after leaving the scene of a crash in which a motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.

The crash happened in the afternoon rush hour yesterday (Tuesday 31 July).

Sussex Police said: “Police are keen to speak the driver of an Audi which left the scene of a collision in Upper North Street, Brighton.

“The collision happened at 5.05pm at the junction of Spring Street and involved a Yamaha motorcycle and a grey Audi car.

“The rider of the motorcycle, a 38-year-old Brighton man, suffered minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment.

“The Audi driver did stop at the scene but left before police arrived.”

PC Richard Brand said: “We are keen to speak the driver of the Audi involved.

“Also if you witnessed the collision or made a note of the Audi registration plate, please get in touch with us.

Sussex Police added: “Contact police online or ring 101, quoting serial 1106 of 31/07.”
