Police are searching for a man who carried out a knife-point robbery at a convenience shop in Rottingdean.

He is described as white, of stocky build, about 6ft 2in, and was wearing a light grey Emporio Armani hooded top with a large white motif on the chest and the top of the hood. The hood was up. he also wore a pair of light grey tracksuit bottoms and a black face covering, possibly a scarf or balaclava, and light grey gloves.

Detective Inspector Ian Still said; “This is a busy spot at the bottom of the High Street and the junction with the A259 South Coast Road.

“If you were passing by on Tuesday evening and saw this man or have any other information, please contact us online or by calling 101, quoting serial 1199 of 02/10.”

In Rottingdean? Of all places? This is absolutely unacceptable.

I hope that the Police catch these naughty, wicked scoundrels and beat them in a harsh and forceful manner.

Why can’t these people stick to their estates, rather than causing mischief in nice areas?

Estates? WHat are you talking about? This is the exact spot where a guy was hit and killed, so not that nice an area, hey?
