The Seagulls are again being held by West Brom in the FA Cup clash of the Albions – this time at the Hawthorns.
Brighton and Hove Albion should be in front in this fourth round replay though.
Leon Balogun hit the bar from an Anthony Knockaert corner and Florin Andone has had several good chances to put the Seagulls in front.
Andone did look a trifle lucky to escape without even a yellow card as he appeared to catch Sam Field with his elbow.
Early in the half Jay Rodriguez tested David Button in the Seagulls goal but Albion’s second choice keeper did well.
As the half drew to an end Hal Robson-Kanu smashed the ball against the post.
And in stoppage time Andone had an excellent header ruled out for offside.
At stake in the second half is the chance to host Derby County in the fifth round of the Cup.
