Thief jailed for stealing from elderly woman who died weeks afterwards

CBeebies presenter Sid Sloane visited children at Portslade primary St Peter’s Community School last month.

The children’s TV celebrity was launching his breakfast clubs Healthy Little Steps, which is running every Wednesday and Thursday at the school next term.

Sid said: “For nearly 20 years I have been associated with the education of children through television.

“Now I am reaching out in person to the health and education sector to help children from every walk of life understand that if you look after your health you learn to respect yourself, and that leads to a positive mental shift in a child’s perception of themselves, helping them to harness their true potential.”

The club’s focus is to help curb childhood obesity and other health issues, such as stress and anxiety in children.
