10cc – to play intimate Brighton concert

For one night only and for just £10 (£1 plus booking fee) the legendary 10cc have announced that they will be playing an exclusive and intimate gig at the Komedia in Brighton on Wednesday 25th September, as part of the annual Nordoff Robbins presents Get Loud series. The venue has a capacity up to 400 people, whereas 10cc sold out the 1,689 capacity Eastbourne Congress Theatre in May, so it’s certain that this new event will sell out in super quick time! Read our Eastbourne concert review HERE.

With all profits going towards promoting Nordoff Robbins’ life-enhancing music therapy, this year’s line-up is immense and diverse – with MNEK, Reef and other headliners from the worlds of metal, pop, rock, ska, and dance all set to make a difference with performances across London on the same day. Buy your tickets HERE.

Nordoff Robbins believe in the power of music to enrich lives and their mission is a world where music therapy is available to all who need it. The charity receives no government funding, so every donation makes a real difference. If you wish to make your donation go even further, sign-up to Gift Aid – click HERE.

10cc will no doubt be performing the hits which have singled them out as one of the most inventive and influential bands in the history of popular music.

Led by co-founder Graham Gouldman, the Art-Pop band are heralded in equal measure for their ability to craft ingenious songs that also resonated commercially, with eleven Top 10 Hits, and over 15 million albums sold in the UK alone. Last summer Gouldman joined the legendary Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band for a series of shows across Europe and North America.

10cc have achieved three No 1 singles – ‘Rubber Bullets’, ‘Dreadlock Holiday’ and of course, ‘I’m Not In Love’, which features prominently in the soundtrack to the film ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, which spawned a No 1 album in the United States.

The line-up features Gouldman (bass, guitar, vocals), Rick Fenn (lead guitar, bass, vocals), Paul Burgess (drums, percussion) – both of whom have been with the band since the mid-’70s – Keith Hayman (keyboards, guitars, bass, vocals) and Paul Canning (vocals, percussion, guitar, keyboards).

Since the most recent live version of the band has been established, 10cc have toured worldwide, including in Australia, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, across the UK and Europe, at London’s 65,000-capacity British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park, and selling out the Royal Albert Hall.

2019 is looking to be another sensational year as the band take their inspirational live show back on the road, performing their timeless hits and more, and always with a surprise or two.
