Rock heavyweights Kid Kapichi from Hastings have stamped their name firmly onto the hide of the UK rock scene, after riding the wave of the release of their single ‘Puppet Strings’ and EP ‘Lucozade Dreams’. Peddling a unique mixture of explosive riffs, bone-crushing live shows, and ear worming melodies of the dual-lead vocals and guitar.
Renowned for their ferocious live shows, on stage is where Kid Kapichi really come alive. Fronted by Jack Wilson & Ben Beetham (joint lead guitar/vocals), with the other half of their ear-shattering sound emanating from George Macdonald (drums) and Eddie Lewis (bass). Having shared the stage with the likes of Slaves, Fat White Family, Fizzy Blood and Pretty Vicious; Kid Kapichi’s name is hot on the lips of the UK live music circuit.
Last November, Kapichi dropped their single ‘Revolver’ and celebrated with a huge hometown show and now they have just released their highly anticipated new EP entitled ‘Sugar Tax’. Watch ‘Death Dips’ from this new EP HERE and further information can be found HERE.
In support of their exciting new release the band have announced a return to The Prince Albert in Brighton on Wednesday 2nd October, with support coming from Sussex based Blue Stragglers and Brighton based Dagobah Sisters. We reviewed Kid Kapichi in March at the same venue when they supported Calva Louise – read our review HERE.
