Firefighters put out a fire in the Poets Corner area of Hove last night (Friday 5 April).
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service sent crews to a property in Wordsworth Street, Hove, shortly after 8.40pm.
A fire that was started in the garden had spread to the house.
The fire service said: “We used four breathing apparatus, a main jet and a local fire hydrant to extinguish the fire.”
Everyone was accounted for. There were no injuries. And the fire was out by 10pm.
