Balaclava-clad man forced entry into Brighton home

A balaclava-clad man who broke into a Brighton home fled after being confronted by a resident last weekend.

Police today launched an appeal for anyone with information about the incident in Glen Rise on Saturday, October 25 to come forward.

The resident reported finding the man at around 6.45pm. He was around 5ft 9in and wearing a long-sleeved black t-shirt, black joggers, and a black balaclava.

The man left when confronted by the resident, and no items were reported as stolen.

Police are appealing for information and footage, and ask that if you saw anyone behaving unusually around Glen Rise, or if you saw a man matching this description, you make a report.

To do this, contact police online, or by calling 101 quoting reference 1128 of 25/10.

Normal in Brighton and Hove. We have people riding around with full face coverings on electric bikes. The streets are no longer safe even in daylight.

The Shite from London, have completely changed the complexion/fabric of Brighton & Hove. I’m born and raised here, fourth generation. Brighton & Hove used to be a lovely, ambient friendly place, I’m afraid to say, it has now, turned into a mini London, shite hole, together with the London arrogance and rudeness. Londoners, please do us all proper Brighton & Hove residents a big favour, go back to London and leave us in peace. Take your London, chip on shoulder and attitude with you.
