Firefighters put out a blaze in Rottingdean, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said.
The fire service said: “East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire in the open at Chailey Avenue, Rottingdean.
“We were called at 12.05pm on Friday (24 April).
“One fire engine from Roedean and a 4×4 from Seaford were in attendance.
“Firefighters used a hose reel to put out a bonfire in a field.
“The fire was reported to be accidental.
“There are no reports of casualties.
“The stop message came in at 1.13pm.”







Amazing, Fire Fighters put out a fire. The shock and horror of a Emergency Service doing what they’re supposed to do.
