Three more people from Brighton and Hove charged as part of drink driving crackdown
Three more people from Brighton and Hove have been charged as part of the annual December crackdown on drink and drug driving.
Christine Inder, 57, was arrested at 11.30pm last Sunday (7 December) after two cars collided in Mackie Avenue, Brighton, Sussex Police said.
Inder, of Old London Road, Patcham, was charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 3 February.
Ayoob Atchia, 43, was arrested at 12.20am last Monday (8 December) in Lewes Road, Brighton, after officers were passed information that a moped rider was drunk.
Atchia, of Buckingham Street, Brighton, was charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis, driving without insurance and resisting arrest. He was released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 3 February.
Saul Livingston, 41, was arrested at 11.25pm on Tuesday (9 December) after officers stopped a car in Old Shoreham Road, Hove.
Livingston, of Elm Drive, Hangleton, was charged with being drunk in charge of a vehicle, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. He was released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 4 February.
