Two months ago but the gang of junkies who hang out along Western Road are all still there harassing people, dealing drugs, and shoplifting. Why?

Why don’t the council and police get them out of the town centre. Other tows manage to do it. Many people I know now feel unsafe shopping on town with kids as the whole experience is so unpleasant and often makes you feel unsafe with so many off their head junkies approaching you constantly for money.

Western road is really bad these days with addicts begging. Put some plain cloths police on the streets then they can catch the dealers.

Last time I went there, a junkie was ranting to himself outside. That part of Brighton/Hove has really turned into a bit of a dump.

They also do their drugs in doorways without a care in the world. No chance of being caught. The Imperial Arcade has got worse for this and very intimidating when on your own whatever time of the day
