Council plans £50m scheme to buy homes for homeless families

A man has been detained by police after windows were smashed and paint spattered at the Farrow and Ball shop in Western Road, Hove, this afternoon (Wednesday 8 October).

Some members of the public reported what sounded like gunshots but no firearms were discharged.

Sussex Police said: “We were called to a report of a man acting erratically and causing a disturbance in a shop in Western Road, Hove, on Wednesday (8 October) at about 3.25pm.

“The man refused to comply and threw objects at the officers.

“He was eventually restrained safely and has been taken to hospital for medical treatment.

“No one was hurt in the incident.

“The road was closed while officers dealt with the incident but has now reopened.”

Yes stan, that’s where they take you when you have a mental breakdown.

Unfortunately he asked for the and was given the pricelist, enough to send anyone over the edge

Good quality paint is often more expensive, however good quality paint also gives good results and you can often get it on 3 for 2 for the DIY stores.

The vibrance and hues of F&B are second to none and only something you see when you use them next to other paints.

I hope the gentleman gets the help he needs and I hope you’re one day gifted a pot of F&B to compare with your usual brand.

        You won’t be disappointed!

I don’t want to be flippant, but someone here should acknowledge the shocking price of paint nowadays – in an age when most people usually comment on the rising price of bread or milk.
And this is Farrow and Ball, the most expensive paint shop in our city.

And it is generally somewhat lacking in opacity, meaning more is required.

Bloody hell the Damage that’s done there, can’t tell me that’s all to do the Customer not having the Right Shade of Paint, a lot of paint has been opened and chucked around-they should of left by Police Escort-not cause more damage, and throw stuff at Police-they should be made to pay all that back-not just a Claim on Insurance.

If he were deemed not to have capacity at the time, such as having a mental health crisis, that wouldn’t likely get very far down a legal system.
