A paraglider was injured at the Devil’s Dyke, just north of Brighton and Hove, yesterday afternoon (Saturday 14 February).
Helicopters were sent by the coastguard and KSS Air Ambulance, which serves Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
The emergency services were contacted at about 1.45pm.
The injured man was initially assessed and treated at the scene.
He was then taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, in Brighton, by the South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb).
