I read recently that raise the colours other co-founder Billy Allison, from Solihull, has been charged with murder after a pub landlord from Lichfield was punched to death – such a law-aiding bunch!

At least they were on the side of Rhiannon Skye Whyte whose family were on the protest, her mother got knocked over by the police.
Brightons counter protest had lots of people with full face coverings, just like they did on the Gaza protests chanting hatred to our law abiding jewish communities.
I’m in the middle i just want controlled immigration so we know who is here so we don’t get more rapes like we had recently on Brighton beach that the illegal immigrants that arrived by inflatable committed.
I also think the police should arrest anyone with full face coverings on a protest.

You are talking utter nonsense – having been on two pro-Palestinian marches in London the crowds are generally determined but good-humoured with very, very few covering their faces and of course there are many Jewish people along with Jewish groups on the marches who are just as opposed to Israels racist brutality as so many of us are – so the idea that there is racist chanting at Jews is clearly ridiculous!

“I’m in the middle”! And I’m a teapot!

Common Robert you want the Jewish Brits out just as much as the other non-white British people. At least have the balls to say it.

Rhiannon Skye Whyte’s family was on the Pro british side , the woman that was slaughtered by an illegal immigrant from a hotel she was working at. The Police pushed her mother to the ground.and if reports are correct people from the Brightons counter protest were shouting her daughter deserved to die,
These days protests from whichever side attract people just out to cause trouble, The ones from the counter protest that were out for trouble had full face coverings just like they did protesting on the Gaza protests here in Brighton chanting things about our law abiding jews.
Fatboy slim labelled everyone that was not on the counter protest as Fascists in effect calling Rhiannon Skye Whyte’s family the same. So i for one will never go to an event he is on again.
The police had a hard job to do without Fatboy playing outside of the station stirring up tensions. I think there should be a law if you wear a full face covering at a protest the police should arrest you no matter which side you are on.
Everyone that shows there face should be allowed to protest if you can’t arrest them.

I did see a video of a woman who spat at one of the police officers, and handcuffed within moments after.

Before Saturday I kept reading how all the protestors were coming from other parts of the country and don’t represent Brighton & Hove and they were the people would be doing all the violence.

So how is it that 7/8 of people who were arrested were locals?

The 7/8 people who were arrested were not all locals.

I read 7/8 as seven or eight, whilst you meant 7 out of 8, and you’re slightly changing the goalposts including surrounding area, but I raise my hands up to that one.

Considering only 300 or so people turned up to protest immigration, I think most of the agitators didn’t really show up, might have something to do with the results last time, but that’s speculation on my part. Plus, Fatboy slim playing a set on the street certainly helps calm things down, on both sides.

You could also potentially attribute that to skilful preventative police work on Sussex Police’s side?

How do you know what side those getting arrested were on? 6 might be left wingers.

Videos help; and some people, like Ryan Bridge, is a well-known agitator. At least one of them was part of the CAF side of the group. Spitting at a police officer who is just keeping the peace is vile behaviour, regardless of your views.

wow Benjamin you are able find away to sit on the fence.

300 are trained in by a midland fascist (not agitator) 4000 turned up many Brighton residents to stop them Police skilfully tried (& failed) to allow the fascists to March though Brighton using pepper spray and baton on some of the 4000. Much of the the batons and pepper spay used on Brighton residents.

You and Labour need read the room and not look at fascist as potential votes.

There is no both sides that day.

          • Benjamin™ says:

Thanks Tailor, I like to listen to a balanced argument and respect the nuance, because being concerned about immigration is not a bad thing, neither is thinking about wanting to focus on people in your own country first, however, that shouldn’t be a scapegoat to incite hatred or intolerance which unfortunately happens a lot in right-wing groups from what I’ve observed, for example, Raise the Colours.

Also, it was clear that there were bad actors on both sides, there’s video proof of such. Some things are simply not acceptable – splitting at police just doing their job is one them – regardless of what your position is. It’s disgusting behaviour I’d expect from something feral.

People make it clear on a regular basis that polarised politics, where everyone not your group is an enemy, is outdated. People want open and amicable debate. How can anyone argue against a point they disagree with, if they don’t understand it?

So yes, there was two sides. Nuance is important though.

I agree. The Brighton Open Air Theatre has long been a hotbed of Islamocommunism. It’s time we put a stop to the looney left.

A non-sequitur and a straw man. A shameful racist and Islamophobic comment.
