Leonardo Ulloa told Brighton and Hove News that he noticed a difference in the way that Palace marked him on Friday compared with the way that they defended against him at the Amex in March.
Speaking at the Amex Press Conference yesterday (Sunday 12 May), he said that it was difficult to compare the play-off match to those during the regular season. There was so much to play for – and thinks it will be the same intensity tonight (Monday 13 May).
The Argentinian considers that tonight’s second leg will be one of the biggest games of his career. And he said that he would obviously love to play in the Premier League for the Albion.
Ulloa said that he would put himself forward for a penalty on Monday should it go to a shoot-out. It would of course be up to Gus (Poyet) but he loved that sort of challenge and would be up for taking one.
A crowd of more than 30,000 is expected at the Amex tonight for one of the biggest games in Albion’s history.
I’ve been a supporter 37 years and now it’s Brighton time.
I will be in the North stand tonight shouting us all the way to Wembley 🙂
GOOD LUCK GUS AND THE LADS, BRIGHTON IS PROUD OF WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR THE CITY.
Brighton inventor 🙂
