A crane blocked Copse Hill and Eldred Avenue in Westdene today, leading to serious traffic disruption and two stuck buses.
Brighton and Hove buses says it cannot serve the Westdene area with the 27 service as a result.
The bus company said: “It would appear crane has swung out and got stuck.
“Cars may be able to get by but higher vehicles can’t and we have two buses stuck.”
Justin Tuckey took this picture of the crane. He said the buses had managed to back up and move, and confirmed low roofed vehicles can pass.
The road was cleared by 3pm.
