Two people arrested for drug dealing near Brighton police station
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing near Brighton police station this morning.
Sussex Police said: “A man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of dealing class A drugs in Brighton on Wednesday morning (23 January).
“An 18-year-old man from London was detained on suspicion of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin and a 24-year-old woman from Slough was detained on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs in Edward Street.
“Officers seized a quantity of drug wraps, cash and phones from the pair.
“The man remains in custody for questioning and the woman has been released under investigation.”
Inspector Nick Dias said: “We are continually working to make Brighton and Hove a hostile place to deal drugs.
“A significant quantity of drugs are being taken off the city’s streets.”
