Mr Pineapple Head is the stuff of legends in our family. My two eldest children were lucky enough for him to visit their nursery for their annual Christmas show and they still talk about it with complete delight. Now their little brother was going to see him for the first time and there was an air of anticipation in the Brunswick as we waited for Mr P to take to the stage.
From his cheery and rather dapper entrance to squeaky footed antics and deckchair disasters to the grand finale my five year old loved every moment. Highlights included a wand with a mind of its own, high energy juggling, slapstick mime, magical bubbles and some well placed fart jokes, which had everyone in stitches! It’s a gentle show filled with a lot of hilarity, perfect for the under 8s, with a lot of audience participation.
Mr Pineapple Head is the perfect mix of fun and silliness without being too overwhelming for small children. It was a real hit with my son and he’s going back to school tomorrow to tell all his mates to get their tickets for next weekend’s show. If you have little ones you should get booking too!
