A valuable ring has been found in Brighton – and Sussex Police are keen to return it to its owner.
The force said: “Police in Brighton would like to reunite a valuable ring with its owner.
“The gold ring, believed to be worth several thousand pounds, was found on the ground at Brighton Marina, between the West Quay pub and the nearby taxi rank, at 10.45am on Tuesday 26 November.
“We hope that the loser will realise from the description of the location and the ring that it is theirs.
“Naturally we will need anyone coming forward to be able to describe the ring in detail and to produce proof of ownership.
“Anyone who believes the ring belongs to them can contact Sussex Police online or by calling 101, quoting reference 47190204806.”
